Reserved seating means you pick your exact seat before you arrive. The whole process takes a couple of minutes, and everything below happens on one screen.
Start at the Ticket Page
Head to the Friends of George’s ticket page to see every performance in the current run.
Each date is listed separately. Click the date you want, and the seating chart for that performance opens.
Choose Your Seats
The chart shows the house as it stands right now. Available seats are selectable. Seats already claimed are not.
- Click the seat you want.
- Click Add to attach it to your order.
- Repeat for each additional seat in your party.
- When everyone in your group has a seat, click Details and Pay.
The Add step matters. A seat is not held until you add it, so click it every time or you will reach checkout with fewer tickets than people.
If a Seat Selection Will Not Go Through
Our system is set up to avoid stranding a single empty seat between two occupied ones. If your selection would leave one seat by itself with no available seat beside it, the system will hold you up rather than let it happen.
The fix is usually small. Shift your entire selection one seat over in either direction and try again. That closes the gap and clears the way to checkout.
If you have tried shifting and still cannot proceed, contact the box office and we will get you seated.
Complete Your Purchase
Clicking Details and Pay takes you to checkout, where you will enter your information and pay. Use an email address you check, because two things arrive there:
- An order confirmation with a View Order link
- A ticket delivery email with a Show Ticket link
Either link opens the page where you manage your order later. Keep both emails, or bookmark one.
Changing Your Mind Later
Your seats are not locked in permanently. Once your order is complete, you can transfer your tickets to someone else, upgrade, rebook for a different performance, correct a name, or release seats back to us for another guest.
Full instructions for each of those are in Managing Your Tickets.
Questions we have not answered here? Contact the box office and someone will walk you through it.
